About Maria
About Maria Gorski, PT, CSA™ - Certified Senior Advisor
My work as a mobile physical therapist puts me in a unique position — I see firsthand how a home environment affects a person’s safety, independence, and quality of life. That insight led me naturally into senior living guidance, helping families navigate housing transitions with the same personalized, compassionate approach I bring to every PT visit. Whether you need help recovering from surgery or figuring out the next chapter, Momentum Mobile PT is here for the whole journey.
After 35 years of helping people move better, recover faster, and reclaim their independence, I know one thing for certain: real recovery takes time, consistency, and a therapist who is fully invested in your progress. That’s exactly why I left traditional clinic-based care. Time and again, I watched patients get approved for just 5 or 6 insurance-covered visits — right at the point when they were through the worst of it but nowhere near where they deserved to be. The bureaucracy was getting in the way of the care my patients needed and the care I was trained to deliver.
So I built something better.
A Different Kind of Practice
Momentum Mobile PT is built on a simple belief — you deserve expert, unhurried, one-on-one care delivered on your terms. No waiting rooms. No shared sessions. No insurance company deciding when your recovery is “complete.”
As a cash-based, concierge mobile practice, I work directly with you to create a treatment plan based entirely on your goals, your body, and your life. Every visit is yours from start to finish — and I stay with you until you’ve reached your full potential, not just the minimum covered by your plan.
A Little About Me
When I’m not treating patients, you’ll find me outside. I bike, ski, and spend as much time as I can on Green Mountain and throughout Jefferson County’s open spaces.
I also love live music and dancing — because a full life is the best medicine of all. That’s a philosophy I bring to every patient I work with too.
And sometimes I can even convince my 2 teenage boys to join me
My Background
I graduated from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania and have spent the past 35 years working with middle-aged and older adults across a variety of clinical settings. Over the course of my career I’ve developed deep expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation, post-surgical recovery, neurological conditions, balance and fall prevention, and helping active adults stay strong and mobile through the stages of life.
Working in patients’ homes in recent years showed me something I couldn’t unsee — recovery is more real, more functional, and ultimately more effective when care meets you where you actually live.
